Still in Germany this morning, arrive in Wertheim and disembark the ship. Then travel by coach to Miltenberg for a tour of this lovely Franconian town, revealing narrow cobblestone streets and gabled, half-timbered houses. Take a moment to go shopping before re-boarding the coach and returning to Wertheim. Known for its glassworks, Franconian wine and friendly people, Wertheim is strategically located where the Main and Tauber rivers meet. The time you’ll spend here is an ideal introduction to a typical medieval village. Watch a local glass-blowing demonstration, then relax as you cruise through the valleys of the meandering Main. Your ship continues through the night for Würzburg.
Daily meals included: • Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner
Surrounded by green hills covered with vineyards, Würzburg is the capital of Lower Franconia and a crucial centre for wine and trade. During dinner, your ship continues cruising towards Nuremberg.
