Day 1, 22 Dec. Vancouver
Upon arrival at Vancouver International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a special Welcome Reception with your Tour Director and fellow travellers tonight.

Day 2, 23 Dec. Vancouver City Sights
This morning, take a sightseeing tour of Vancouver that will introduce you to the city’s brightest Christmas attractions. This afternoon is at leisure for you to relax or explore.

Day 3, 24 Dec. Vancouver, Whistler
Today, travel along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. Take in the stunning vistas and coastal scenery as it gives way to the alpine landscape of the Rockies. Enjoy a festive dinner tonight.

Day 4, 25 Dec. Christmas in Whistler
Christmas in Whistler is at your leisure for you to be as active, or relaxed, as you wish. Perhaps take to the slopes with our skiing option (own expense). Meet before dinner for an included Christmas drink and then enjoy a special feast with all the trimmings

Day 5, 26 Dec. Whistler, VIA Rail
The morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, return to Vancouver with an included visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge to see the Canyon Lights - a winter celebration of light. Apart from being an excellent viewing platform, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is an attraction in its own right, being an impressive 136 metres in length and constructed some 70 metres above the river. Enjoy dinner before transferring to Central Station for your special overnight VIA Rail journey to Jasper.

Day 6, 27 Dec. Jasper
Wake up in the Canadian Rockies and watch the scenery go by. Arrive in the town of Jasper this afternoon.

Day 7, 28 Dec. Jasper
In 1907, approximately 13,000 sq km of land was set aside to become Jasper Forest Park. In 1930, it became a national park that would go on to receive a World Heritage Site listing and attract an estimated 3 million visitors every year. Today enjoy your day exploring these surroundings and relaxing at the lodge.

Day 8, 29 Dec. Jasper, Icefields Parkway, Lake Louise
Journey through breathtaking scenery as you travel the Icefields Parkway (weather permitting). Arrive in Lake Louise, the jewel of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 9, 30 Dec. Lake Louise, Freedom of Choice Touring
Take advantage of one of our included Freedom of Choice Touring activities. Perhaps try snow-shoeing along the Great Divide, sit back and relax with an indulgent high tea at the chateau, or for a true winter experience take a sleigh ride along Lake Louise and be awed by the magical views.

Day 10, 31 Dec. New Year’s Eve at Lake Louise
Today, relax in this winter wonderland. Perhaps spend some time unwinding in your luxurious hotel, go ice-skating on Lake Louise or head out and explore. Tonight, celebrate the New Year at the iconic The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 11, 1 Jan. Lake Louise, Banff
Enjoy the morning at Lake Louise before travelling to Banff. Established in 1884 and named after Banffshire in Scotland, Banff became the location of a number of grand hotels. Banff flourished as a tourist centre and in 1985, Banff National Park was declared a World Heritage Site. It is, without doubt, one of the most popular wilderness destinations in Canada. Here, you have the option to experience an exciting dog sled tour (own expense). Alternatively, there is also time for sightseeing or shopping.

Day 12, 2 Jan. Banff, Freedom of Choice Touring
Today, enjoy a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Then choose an ice walk in Johnston Canyon, a wilderness experience, or enjoy a traditional high tea at the iconic Banff Springs Hotel. This evening enjoy a Farewell Dinner.

Day 13, 3 Jan. Banff, Depart Calgary
This morning after breakfast, travel to Calgary Airport for your flight home.
