Putting the Holiday Choice Back in Your Hands
By designing and building two distinct classes of river ships, we're putting your holiday decisions right back where they belong - in your hands. In 2011, only with APT can you now tailor your cruise to suit your interests.
Innovative Aria Class River Ships
Aria Class ships boast an innovative leading-edge design. Launched between 2006 and 2009, they have been the most popular ships in Europe for some time. Testament to their popularity, the first ship in our fleet - the ms Amadagio - was voted by travellers the Best River Cruise ship in the world at Cruise Passenger magazine's 2009 Readers' Choice Awards.
Revolutionary Concerto Class River Ships
Never ones to rest on our laurels, 2011 will see APT's two Concerto Class ships on the water. These revolutionary vessels present the popular attributes of Aria Class ships while introducing some new features we're certain will appeal to many. Slightly larger, these ships are set to change the way the industry looks at river ship design, thanks in part to their exclusive range of Twin Balcony Suites - featuring an Outside Balcony as well as an AMA Private Balcony.
All of the river ships in our magnificent fleet present the following onboard features, services and benefits:

Our Aria Class ships have revolutionised river cruising in Europe, and have received an overwhelming nod of approval from the people that matter most - our travellers. Since the launch of the award-winning ms Amadagio in 2006, we have built a further five ships that continue to delight guests with their unprecedented level of style and sophistication.
The success of these ships is the result of the significant amount of time, research and thought we put into their design. A design that saw us introduce AMA Private Balconies to the world. A design that guarantees more space per guest in public areas, and a much higher staff-to-guest ratio, than on most other vessels. A design that ensures no suites are located directly over the engine and that the captain's command room is in the safest position - at the front of the ship. Simply, Aria Class ships have allowed APT to set the standard in European river cruising.

* ms Amaverde - launch 2011 * ms Amabella - launch 2010 *
Our Concerto Class ships were designed in keeping with our age-old commitment to innovation. While they offer a different cruising experience to Aria Class ships, they retain the same exceptional attributes.
When we designed our luxurious Concerto Class ships, there was no need to reinvent the wheel. Because, thanks to our Aria Class ships, we already operated the finest vessels on Europe's waterways.
We simply wanted to increase your options when it came to river cruising in Europe. And these remarkable vessels do just that. On board, you'll find no less than seven different dining experiences available, including three different speciality restaurants, as well as a large number of unique lounges in which to unwind. Utilising AMA Private Balconies once again, we've introduced the Twin Balcony concept to most of the suites. These all-weather balconies help create a glassed-in conservatory-style area that is superbly complemented by a spacious Outside Balcony. The concept is exclusive to APT, making us the only cruise operator able to offer two different in-suite balconies.
